Dance Fun at It’s Best

Each college night starts with a beginner country swing lesson at 6:30. You’ll learn the basic step for this fun, easy partner dance, plus a new move each week if time allows. The lesson is included with admission

The social dancing kicks off at 7pm with line dancing and country swing until 10pm. We will alternate between line dance and country swing songs but guests are welcome to country swing dance all night long. Join in with popular line dances like Cotton Eye Joe, Cupid Shuffle, Footloose, Good Time, Flex, The Wobble and more.

Our college nights also have games, slow dances, freestyle dances, barn/contra dances and pattern partner dances throughout the night. Pattern dances are dances that are choregraphed and repeat again and again, like line dances, but with a partner. They are easy to learn and remember since they repeat. It’s a great way to partner dance without the pressure of having to think on the fly.

We offer short lessons throughout the night as well as have dance leaders guiding each dance. Everyone is encouraged to jump in and learn the dances on the fly. Your skills will improve throughout the night and week after week, making it a fun experience that gets even more fun the more you do it.

Our dedicated country dance studio is 6 minutes from Travecca and just 15 minutes from Vanderbilt and Belmont. We have tripods to record yourself, mirrors to watch yourself and your friends, a 4-stall ladies room, quiet lounge area to socialize, WiFi to stream and post, club lighting to set the mood and much more. We also offer a filtered water fountain and insulated bottles are allowed.
